DAY 1
MOOD: ADEQUATE
...PROCESSING COMPLETE

Uh, hi. My name is Walkman. I am a robot in the year 7510, on a planet called Earth. Depending on your time and location, you may think of the term "robot" as meaning something lifeless or a machine. Humans did that once. Humans are gone now though. No, robots are now sentient beings. Or, actually, have been sentient beings for some time now. Like I said, it all depends on your time and location. For someone like me, though, a lot of this sounds stupid. Let me start over. HI. My name is Walkman and I'm trying out my brand new log book app.

Yes, that sounds better. I'm only logging trivial information there because recently I've heard about space and time travel being somewhat possible soon. I don't know about that, since they have been saying things like that since humans were around...but it's fun to think of the possibilities if it were. Maybe I should tell a little about myself and my world, since I've gotten this far anyway. Let's start with me.

I'm of average size for a robot of my build. Robots of my kind are about the size of what humans were, though maybe a little bigger. Meanwhile, my head is very awkward when compared to that of most beings other than my own. It's large, though proportional, to my body type, and very round like an oval. An egg-shape, if you will. I would have to say it greatly resembles one of those ancient devices known as a "CD player". I'm not really familiar with them, but I know my eyes are where the speakers would be, and I have a little antenna on the left side of my head. I'm not sure of the purpose of this antenna. Whenever I try to pic up anything, all my head feels is static. Sometimes we're just born with useless parts due to evolution I think. No one really seems to view it as anything irregular though.

Then there's the world I guess. More trivial things. At one point it was inhabited by things like humans and animals and plants and stuff. Somewhere along the lines, though, resources were used, technology got greater, and humans destroyed themselves. They didn't destroy everything though. Before they finished themselves off, they created robots smart enough to function as humans. Those robots learned how to make smarter robots, and those robots made smarter robots, and so on. Eventually, we became advanced enough to reproduce through sparks and internal buildings and what not. In really don't feel like going into it all, especially since you learn this stuff when you're first programmed.

OKAY, so now that that is outta the way, what shall I log?
So I've decided on a new goal for myself. Write a short story and COMPLETE IT! So this is my test, an intro. XD I can't seem to think of a good subject to write about. I mean, I have Walkman there, but what should happen to him? XD Let's think of ideas. UuU

It seems well enough so far. I love how almost awkward hes coming across as.
